The Community Volunteer Training programme is FREE

Who is it for?

It’s for anyone who wants to get involved in their community as a volunteer. It will be ideal for volunteers and community groups who provide support to members of the public, for example in recovery, mental health, health and social care, volunteer-led community support, sports and culture, environment and children and young people.

How is it delivered?

We’ll be giving volunteers the knowledge and awareness they need through friendly face-to-face informal workshops delivered through the Volunteer Centre and Recovery/Fast4wd Team.

What will I gain?

By taking part, volunteers will gain confidence and the key skills they need for volunteering.

Certificates will be provided for the workshops volunteers attend.

When will the Community Volunteer Training Programme run?

The programme is delivered on a rolling basis every 2 months. It is a 4 day training delivered over 2 weeks ( 2 days per week) at the Community CVS Boulevard Centre.

Places will be available on a first come first served basis.
