September is Recovery Month – and Community CVS is proud to form a part of the Spark Collaborative, which offers a wide range of support to the Recovery Community in Blackburn with Darwen.

As part of our recovery provision, we administer the Community Asset Fund, a small grants pot which enables local volunteer-led community groups to access between £500 and £2000 for projects which enhance the wellbeing and resilience of the Recovery Community.

We also offer a tailored half-day session on Volunteering in Recovery Services as part of our Community Volunteer Training. Stay tuned to learn more!

We’d also like to draw your attention to two great sessions coming up later this month.

On Friday 13th September, there will be a Recovery/IPS Employability Day taking place from 11am to 2pm at Café Hub in Darwen. Contact Spark on 01254 495014 or via BWD@calico.org.uk to find out more.

Additionally, there will be a showcase of the achievements of the Recovery Community, including a number of projects funded by the Community Asset Fund, on Wednesday 25th September at St. Luke’s Church.
