The Bowel Cancer Screening Team had another successful Health Promotion Event at Issa Medical Centre @ Deepdale on Sunday 13th October.
BCSP Health Promotion Officer Andrea Pugh was invited to Flu and Covid Vaccination Event and spoke to many individuals and ordered kits too.
One person told Andrea that doing the kit has saved his life.
The Health Promotion Team will also be providing friendly, comprehensive advice on bowel cancer screening at a “spook-tacular” Halloween fundraiser organised by the Friends of Oswald Medical Centre on Saturday 19th October. The event will take place between 9am and 2pm at the Oswald Medical Centre in Oswaldtwistle.
The “Poo and Flu” Clinic will feature a host of fun, creative competitions and an opportunity to enjoy a brew, chat, vaccinations and advice, as part of the Friends’ efforts to raise funds to improve accessibility at the Centre.
