Bowel cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer – but, with early detection, it can be cured. The Bowel Cancer Screening Programme is a keystone in making sure bowel cancer and pre-cancerous anomalies are found early and treated.

Here is Dr. Sakthi Karunanithi, the Director of Public Health at Lancashire County Council, discussing the importance of bowel cancer screening.

Bowel Cancer Screening is available to everyone aged between 50 and 74 and takes the form of a testing kit which arrives through the post. If you are eligible but have not received a kit, please do not hesitate to call 0800 70 60 60. It might prove to be the most important phone call you’ll make.
