Alcohol Research UK
Alcohol Research UK supply a range of grants to charities for work around alcohol awareness.
Allen lane Foundation
The Foundation is interested in funding work which benefits people in the following groups, or generalist work which includes significant numbers from more than one such group: asylum-seekers and refugees (but not groups working with a single nationality); gay, lesbian, bi-sexual or transgender people; Roma and Travellers; migrant workers; offenders and ex-offenders; older people; people experiencing mental health problems; & people experiencing violence or abuse.
Anchor Foundation
The Foundation support Christian charities to conduct work aimed at social inclusion, with a special reference to healing & the arts.
Awards for All
Awards for All offers lottery grants of between £300 and £10,000 to charities for projects which work towards improving communities & enhancing the lives of the denizens therein.
Baring Foundation
The Foundation offers a variety of programmes: the Strengthening the Voluntary Sector programme; the International Development programme; and the Arts programme.
Big Local SHadsworth and Whitebirk

Caron Keating Foundation
The Foundation awards grants & support to groups for cancer causes.
Cash 4 Clubs
Cash 4 Clubs awards grants to grassroots community sports groups.
Dulverton Trust
The Trust provides single-year grants to charities for work in a variety of areas including: youth opportunities; conservation; preservation; peace & humanitarian support; & general welfare.
Esmée Fairbairn Foundation
The Foundation provides grants in the fields of: arts; education & learning; environment; social change; & a food strand; as well as a Merger Fund to organisations in the early stages of planning a merger. All groups are eligible provided the aims of the project being funded are legally charitable.
Fidelio Charitable Trust
The Trust provides grants to groups & individuals in support of the Arts.
Giving World Online
GWO is a free giving scheme set up to encourage businesses to publicise surplus stock online and donate the goods directly onto charities and community projects working to help people in need.
Hedley Foundation
The Foundation give grants to registered charities for specific projects. Their current overarching objective is young people. Grants in this field have been allocated 70% of the Foundation’s budget.
Henry Smith Charity
The Charity make grants in several programmes totalling approximately £25 million each year to up to 1,000 organisations and charities for initiatives and projects that address social inequality and economic disadvantage.
Heritage Lottery Fund
The Fund supply funding in numerous programmes to groups and consortia for work around heritage. How to apply.
Hilden Charitable Fund
The Fund offer grants to groups with a particular emphasis on work around: homelessness; asylum seekers & refugees; community-based initiatives for disadvantaged young people (16-25); penal affairs; and overseas development.
Jill Franklin Trust
The Trust gives grants to groups for the support of people with a mental illness or learning difficulties and their carers (parents etc.), refugees & asylum seekers & for respite care. They also have a programme funding the restoration of architecturally-important churches.
Kelly Family Charitable Trust
The Trust funds charities for work aimed at strengthening families.
Lloyds bank Foundation
Supports small to medium sized charities with work that aims to break the cycle of disadvantage.
SITA Trust
The Trust supplies funding to improve the natural environment & lives of communities. The Trust run five funding programmes.
Skinners’ Company
The Company oversee four grant-making charities which provide financial assistance to groups & individuals for the relief of poverty & disadvantage.
Veolia Environmental Trust
The Trust offers a variety of funding schemes to support community and environmental projects.
