Community CVS is here to support you with involving volunteers. There can be real magic when volunteering is well managed, with everyone benefitting. We’re here to help you find volunteers, support you with good practice and link you in to the network of local support. Our service is aimed at all sectors: Voluntary and Community, Public and Private.

Advertising your volunteer roles

Advertising your roles is a service we offer free of charge but we do have minimum quality standards that we expect from organisations. This is to ensure that volunteers will be safe, supported and benefit from volunteering.

In a nutshell, basic good practice to volunteers means induction, involvement, personal development, fairness, appreciation, safety, support and out of pocket expenses.

Roles are advertised on our website, on Twitter, e-bulletins and in face to face interviews with volunteers.

Please fill in the “I NEED VOLUNTEERS” form or email lynn.hennessy@communitycvs.org.uk to advertise roles.
