The Bowel Cancer Screening Programme organised a very successful Flu & Bowel Screening Event at Oswald Medical Centre in Accrington on Saturday 5th October.

This was their first ever Saturday Call for a Kit Clinic (CFAKC) for people aged between 54 and 65. This clinic was tailored to the needs of working patients who have received the kit who would otherwise be unable to attend on weekdays.

The clinic was part of Oswald Medical Centre’s annual flu campaign and, working with Practice Manager Steph Driver and Office Manager Donna Preston, Shahida Hanif and Saima Zeb booked non-respondents to provide information about importance of Screening and ordered the kit. It has been a very scuessful collaboration where our team supported 40 patients and almost 400 patients attended through out the day.
