We are recruiting volunteers to help promote and raise awareness around the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme within Lancashire and South Cumbria.
The role will involve helping transport our giant inflatable bowel to various locations throughout the area, engaging with members of the public and raising awareness around the topic and our BCSP project, also signposting individuals into the service if needed.
We are looking for a range of people who can engage with members of the public, preferably have a driving licence, have a passion for supporting and raising awareness around the issues, promotion in relation to cancer prevention and access to our awareness and testing (call for a kit) programme.
There will be a four-day induction for volunteers early in the New Year before the role out of our promotional events and ability to access ongoing training if desired.
