We are looking for volunteers to assist us with this project helping to support individuals accessing substance misuse services in their recovery journey in the Blackburn with Darwen area.
What we are looking for: –
★ An interest in helping or working in the area of substance misuse;
★ Patience, empathic, good listening skills and enthusiasm;
★ Insight into this particular area would be an advantage gained through personal or academic means;
★ Experience would be helpful, however training and support will be an on-going process.
Volunteer applications need to be in by Wednesday 31st August with three day induction early September (dates to be confirmed).
