We are delighted to announce our programme of Community Volunteer Training and Step into Volunteering sessions in Blackburn and Preston during the remainder of 2025.


Community Volunteer Training (Blackburn)

Our Community Volunteer Training equips volunteers with a wide range of skills and knowledge to enable them – and the organisations for which they volunteer – to get the very best out of volunteering.

Sessions are led by the fantastic Denise Hayhurst and take place in the Conference Room at our Boulevard Centre, 45 Railway Road, Blackburn BB1 1EZ.

Step into Volunteering (Preston)

Step into Volunteering is a brand new free learning session to help people find out about what volunteering is, how it can help them build confidence, meet new people and gain new skills.

At present, there are five sessions planned, the first three to be held at Preston Town Hall (on the remaining dates, the venue is to be confirmed): –
