Looking for funding? Community CVS administers a number of grants.
The Preston Volunteering Fund, run in collaboration with Preston City Council, supports volunteer-involving organisations in Preston to increase their capacity to improve volunteer participation and retention and create new volunteering opportunities in and around the city. Grants of up to £10,000 are available. Round one closes on Saturday, with a second round opening in October.
The Blackburn with Darwen Community Fund is a small grants fund is being run by Community CVS on behalf of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, the Brian Mercer Trust and the Eric Wright Charitable Trust. It offers up to £1,000 per annum to organisations in Blackburn with Darwen for projects involving volunteering and community benefit. Round 13 closes on Monday 30th September.
The Infant Feeding Community Grants programme offers small grants of between £250 and £1,000 to groups for promoting and supporting breastfeeding among families within Blackburn with Darwen.
The Community Asset Fund, which we administer on behalf of Spark, offers grants of between £500 and £2,000 to volunteer-led community organisations for projects supporting recovery in the community and enhance people’s wellbeing.
