On Sunday 8th September members of the Just Run for Today group took part in the Shelter Colour Run at Witton Park.
The group wanted to help raise money for the great work that Shelter do and they raised a whopping £320! Not only did the group take park in the Colour Run but they were also selling sweet bags on the run up to the event to add more money to the pot.
The weather did not hold back, but that did not stop Just Run For Today from completing their mission to raise money. The group had lots of fun and the kids were involved too.
Just Run For Today are one of the many groups that we have funded through the Community Asset Fund.
The Community Asset Fund is available to grassroots community groups whose project will benefit the recovery community in BwD.
