‘Volunteering in Preston’ celebrates and highlights the incredible contribution to Preston that small volunteer-led groups make. It was made to feature all those who attended our Preston Volunteers Awards event in the Council Chamber at which the Mayor presented certificates to thank volunteer teams and Cllr Nweeda Khan did an address to thank the groups on behalf of Preston City Council.
It also features the first 3 Valuing Volunteers Quality Mark Award achievers- all serving in Preston; Fishwick Park Rangers, Disability Equality NW and Renaissance.
